Perpetual Motion Wall approach

Perpetual Motion Wall approach

HIGH ON A ROCKPILE at the far northeast end of the Virgin Islands group (left, in the above graphic), and facing away from Geology Tour Road, stands Perpetual Motion Wall. From the 0.6 mi (1 km) approach take a brief detour in front of Star Wars Rock and enjoy the views from the first of two high desert valleys. The main line of approach continues along the northeast side, to a second hanging valley around back. This area, as well, provides outstanding vistas south and east, with Perpetual Motion dominating the rock formations.
